Any young performers (singers, actors, dancers) between the ages of 11 and 18 years old are invited to participate in this program. Prior theatrical experience is an asset, but not mandatory. We only ask for young artists who take performing seriously, whether simply out of passion, or driven by a desire to pursue this craft as a career.
Auditions for Footloose will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd from 5pm to 9pm (location TBD). More details regarding audition requirements and time slots will be available after registration is complete.
Rehearsal Schedule & Locations
- Tuesdays | 5:00–9:00 PM
Main rehearsals will be held in the multipurpose room at Kwayhquitlum Middle School. - Sundays
We will hold music rehearsals at one of our dedicated home studios (address in Coquitlam divulged to participants) with our Music Director, focusing on vocal work and musical polish. - We may add more rehearsals closer to the show.
- Participants in the program should expect to be available the week leading to the shows for “tech week”.

Performance Venue
The production will be performed at the Anvil Theatre (May 13, 14, 15, 16) for a total of 6 performances, giving students the experience of working in a professional theatre space.
Tuition & Payment Plans
The cost for Footloose comes to a value of 155$ per month (for a total of 1,240$).
Breakdown:
- Enrollment fee: 200$ (upon registration)
- Tuition fee: 1,040$ (payable after the auditions)

Objective
Our goal is to provide youth performers with high-quality training and production experiences that reflect real theatrical processes, from rehearsal structure to performance expectations, while remaining as accessible and transparent as possible.
In addition, our creative team will offer workshops and training sessions during the rehearsal process, going beyond merely preparing for the performances.
