Our mission and the meaning behind our name:
Lux Aeterna, Latin for “eternal light”, was founded with a clear purpose: to provide young artists with meaningful performance opportunities, strong mentorship programs, and a supportive environment rooted in growth, collaboration, and artistic excellence. We believe that every performer has something special to offer, and that sharing this inner light and artistry creates everlasting ripples of positivity and inspiration out in the world.
At the heart of Lux Aeterna is a commitment to nurturing young performers not only as artists, but as confident, resourceful, and thoughtful individuals. Our programming is designed to bridge the gap between youth training and the professional theatre world, offering students the skills, foundations, and artistic standards they would need should they choose to pursue theatre professionally, while remaining just as valuable for those who simply want to make performing a meaningful part of their lives.
Lux Aeterna Theatre Association believes in a diverse and culturally rich artistic scene, welcoming performers of any identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, and background.
